What do you do?
I trained for a year at Eastman Dental Hospital, part of University College London, and then took a job there as a dental nurse.
Working in a dental hospital involves being part of a big multi-disciplinary team, working with different specialists from all fields of dentistry. There is always help and support at hand and I work with fantastic people who are all very helpful and supportive.
The best bit is seeing a patient who started anxious or nervous, smiling and become more confident at the end of their appointment or treatment.
Becoming a dental nurse is a fantastic career opportunity whether you are male or female.
